(Edit: basically just putting all the drawings here)
We're back from term break and we only had one workshop class this week due to Anzac Day on the 25th. Felix’s drawing class still went ahead on Wednesday and I shall take this opportunity to give some love to this class!
I never thought that I would need to use set squares after uni and yet, here we are. When I moved to Sydney in 2008, mom packed me a treasure trove of stationery tools. Some were more useful than others then but pulling out all the gems now is making me very nostalgic. It reminds me of our stationery shop trips where we would spend hours just looking at pens, paper, scissors, and… tape.
That woman once packed me a 50x50x50cm box filled with an assortment of double sided tape, masking tape, foam tape etc. and to this day, I still have stock left.
Tools from the archive:
• Set squares x 4 (!)
• French curves
• Circle, oval, square templates
• Eraser shield, which I never used in uni but remember her emphasising how useful it is.
And damn, she’s right.
